We Are Here For You

Breastlink can assist you with nearly all of your breast health needs. As a leader in breast care, our goal is to provide complete and total care to all of our patients – from initial screening to the successful completion of treatment. Whether you need us now or later, we are always here for you.

Multidisciplinary Treatment Planning

Breastlink breast health experts thoroughly assess each breast cancer patient diagnosis to ensure a custom, individualized treatment plan is presented. A multidisciplinary treatment planning conference, bringing together the perspective of radiologists, pathologists, surgeons and oncologists, ensures the collective wisdom of the team crafts the optimal breast cancer patient treatment plan.

Second Opinion

Whether one is newly diagnosed, has a relapse or is looking for state-of-the-art treatment through clinical trials, getting a breast cancer second opinion is an accepted and encouraged practice amongst breast cancer advocacy groups and physicians who treat patients with breast cancer. Patients shouldn’t worry about offending their doctor – most oncologists expect their patients to seek a second opinion.

Patient Navigation

Patient navigation helps guide patients and ensures timely diagnosis, treatment, and support.

Research

Breastlink Research Group is guided by one basic goal: to provide our patients access to clinical research that we believe can improve their quantity and quality of life using the most appropriate modalities that science has to offer. We believe that this provides each patient with the care that is right for them– the care that has the greatest potential to maximize effectiveness while minimizing toxic side effects.

Breast Surgery

The Breastlink surgical team is committed to working closely with patients to determine the breast cancer surgery option that best meets their needs and preferences. We believe it is essential for our patients to have confidence in the decision making process.

Bone Density (DEXA)

A dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan measures the density and mineral content in bone, most often in the hip or lower spine. It is the most accurate method of determining bone density and potential problems related to bone loss.

Ultrasound

Breastlink offers women access to state-of-the-art breast ultrasound technology and an unrivaled team of expert radiologists and radiologic technologists. If you would like to learn more, contact us online and we will get back to you within one business day to schedule an appointment.

Image Guided Biopsy

Breast biopsy experiences will vary based on the type of biopsy being performed. Image-guided biopsies use medical imaging technologies during the process to help physicians locate problem areas. The type of breast biopsy a physician recommends will depend on a patient’s specific circumstances, such as the location and size of a lesion in her breast.

Breast MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses magnets to produce images of internal organs. There is no radiation involved. Breast MRI is an imaging procedure that can provide more detailed information on breast tissue that may not be seen by mammography. Breast MRI is only used as a supplement to, and never a replacement for, mammography.

Low Dose 3D Mammography

Like traditional mammography, 3D mammography uses X-rays to produce images of breast tissue in order to detect lumps, tumors or other abnormalities. 3D mammography is capable of producing more detailed images of breast tissue.

Mammography

Mammography is a breast imaging procedure that uses X-rays to produce images of breast tissue. Mammography is performed to find abnormalities in a woman’s breasts, such as tumors or lumps, which may not be evident during physical examination. Images produced by mammography, called mammograms, are examined by a radiologist to determine if an abnormality exists.
